To make these cards, I used some items that I always have on hand. These supplies make my life just that much easier. In case you don’t own them or need a recommendation, here are some crafting items I keep in the house:

For the actual Valentine’s, I grabbed small sets of bubbles from both Target and Amazon to see which looked better for photos in this post (hashtag behind the scenes) and how the quality was of each.

Both passed.

Here are links to Target and Amazon supplies, depending on which is easier for you. Oh! And don’t forget that the Dollar Store often has bubbles, too.

Bubbles (pack of 30)

This 30-pack of bubbles is brightly colored, eye-catching, and has a cute little star handle. It’s a big pack of bulk bubbles.

Bubbles (pack of 16)

This 16-pack of bubbles is adorable in 4 colors and 2 different toppers: hearts and stars. These are super affordable.

How to assemble the Valentines

Step 1: I recommend printing the Valentine cards on card stock paper. It’s a better weight for craft project like these (which is why I always have a ream of it on hand).

Step 2: Cut out the Valentine’s (easy peasy).

Step 3: Add one hole punch in the upper left corner of the Valentine. This is where you will tie the bubble to the Valentine. See my photo for how this will look.

Step 4: Make sure to sign the Valentine’s before assembling them. If your child is signing the Valentine’s on their own, make sure to have them do it in chunks of 3-5 rather than all at once.

Step 5: Tie the bubbles to the Valentine’s.

Step 6: Admire your adorable homemade cards.
