Best Tips for Success
- To start meal prepping without overwhelming yourself, remember that it’s okay to do just one recipe a week.
- Let any food you make cool completely before adding it to a storage container. This prevents steam from being trapped in the container and causing excess moisture.
- Most recipes last for about 5 days in the fridge.
- Add fruit, milk, a smoothie (like my Simple Green Smoothie), toast, freezer turkey sausage or bacon, or any other simple food to these ideas if you think your kids will need additional food.
- Add almond butter or other nut butter or seed butter to a muffin or quick bread to make them a little more substantial.
