After having three kids of my own, I know how overwhelming it can be to put together a baby registry. It can sometimes feel like you’re forgetting tons of stuff, even if you’ve made your own checklist ahead of your due date. And it can be so hard to actually know what you will get the most use out of.

Which is why I decided to put together some must-have baby registry ideas at Walmart.

Whether you’re a first-time parent or you’re juggling multiple kiddos and a pregnancy (kudos!), here are some product picks I recommend adding to your Walmart registry.

Every parent (or parent-to-be) probably has their own thoughts on the best car seat, but this pick from Graco is a great, safe option with a 4.7-star rating from more than 4,100 shoppers. The 4-in-1 design allows you to use it for up to 10 years since it transforms from a rear-facing harness all the way up to a backless booster with a 120-pound capacity. It has tons of fantastic safety features (think: crash test engineering and a harness storage compartment) that will keep your newborn secure from day one. 

I absolutely love this baby food maker from NutriBullet! I found that it was super similar to any full-size NutriBullet blender because it’s compact, powerful, and able to take on tons of different fruits and veggies. Cleanup is easy thanks to the dishwasher-safe parts, and I also like that it’s specifically designed for baby food prep, including small batches of Stage 1 food like apple puree! 

Another one of my top picks, the Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair is my absolute favorite high chair for both babies and toddlers. We’ve had ours for years and it’s still going super strong. I love that it transitions from a high chair to a stool, which means you don’t need a booster seat to transition, and it comes with a five-point harness and can be used with or without a tray. 

While it’s a bit of an investment as far as high chairs go, we have found ours to be incredibly durable, especially since it grows with your kid. 

If you’re in the market for a camera so you can keep an eye on your little one while they sleep, the Nanit Pro is a great pick. Using the accompanying app, you can keep tabs on their breathing and motion, talk to them using two-way audio, and choose from a library of white noise, lullabies, or nature sounds to lull them to bed.

This is something you’ll definitely want to have before your child gets sick. This kit comes with some definite must-haves for taking care of your baby, like a 3-in-1 thermometer, a nasal aspirator, and a bottle medicine dispenser. 

Cozy swaddles are essential for babies and you can never have enough of them. We’ve loved the Love To Dream Swaddle UP for all our kids since the position allows baby to keep their arms in the position they naturally want to be in—without the risk that they will startle themselves with their tiny fists.

It also comes in four different colors and two size options, newborn (5 to 8.5 pounds) and small (8 to 13 pounds). 

These bibs are some of my favorites for babies. I like that the fabric is strong so it won’t rip, regardless of how restless your growing little one is. Plus, cleaning is a breeze — you can use a damp sponge or washcloth for inevitable messes or just pop them in the washing machine when they’re worse for wear.  

It goes without saying that you’ll go through a lot of diapers, so I definitely recommend putting these on your registry! They’re a favorite among parents (they have a 4.7-star rating from more than 3,500 Walmart shoppers!) because of the hypoallergenic material and super absorbent design. 

This four-stage convertible bathtub is designed to grow with your kiddo, making it a great item to put on your registry. It fits most sinks and bathtubs and has a 25-pound capacity, along with a soft mesh sling for newborns, a Sit-Me-Up insert for squirmy babies, and even two water toys! 

This set of anti-colic bottles is specifically meant to decrease spit-up, burping, and gas so you and your baby can both have a more comfortable feeding experience. Let’s face it — regardless of how cute they are, no one likes messy spit-up accidents! 

I’m a firm believer in keeping baby clothing functional and cute, and this 8-pack of onesies from Gerber is an awesome way to do just that. Available in a few different pattern options (Sunrise, Elephants, and neutral animals, for example), these cotton snap-on onesies are unisex and available in sizes including newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and so on. 

A diaper bag is an incredible way to keep things organized when you’re on the go. This tote boasts two quick-access bottle pockets, a wipeable changing pad, and removable stroller straps, and it’s made from water-resistant fabric to keep things safe and sound. 

If you still haven’t decided on a changing table, I recommend adding this one to your registry. Not only does it feature wheels for quick and easy access, but it also doubles as a bassinet and a napper with a canopy that can grow with your baby up to 36 months.

Tummy time has never been this fun (or cute!), thanks to the glow and grow playmat from Fisher Price. Complete with a removable piano that plays more than 85 songs, both you and your baby will love learning and playtime. 

Messy clothes are unavoidable with a newborn, which is why I swear by these waterproof wet bags from Bumkins. The reusable bags can be used for everything from swimsuits to toiletries to anything with spills when you’re away from home. 

Despite being on the pricier side, I love this Baby Jogger all-terrain stroller. The tires are incredibly durable and the hand-operated parking brake is super easy to use. It is definitely an investment, but I appreciate the bottom storage and shade. It’s also super innovative and can be fitted with accessories like an infant car seat, pram, glider board, parent console, or child tray to give you even more use for it.

We used this carrier from Ergobaby while running errands or going on walks with our babies. (And I still sometimes use it with my kindergartener to back-carry him to and from the beach!)
