This Peach Smoothie is so seriously refreshing and comes together in under 5 minutes. It’s nutritious, naturally sweet, and is easy to adjust for the ingredients you prefer and have on hand.
Peach Smoothie
My middle kiddo has recently been asking for peach smoothies (in part since she likes to steal some of the frozen peaches straight from the bag!) so we’ve been making this easy smoothie a lot lately. It’s so creamy, has such great peach flavor, and is really easy to make.
I love to make enough to share with the kids—and we often use purchased frozen peaches or peaches we’ve frozen at home if we’ve been able to find fresh fruit on sale.
Smoothies can be a great toddler breakfast, baby snack, or after school (or camp) snack. Or even as a drink option with any other meal.
Ingredients You Need
Here’s a look at the ingredients you need to make this kids smoothie recipe so you know what to look for at the store.
- Milk: You can use dairy milk or a nondairy milk. I like the Good Karma brand one shown above, soy milk, or ripple milk.
- Peaches: I usually make this smoothie with frozen peaches. You can use fresh peaches and use a frozen banana if you prefer.
- Banana: This adds nice flavor and additional creaminess. If you don’t want to do banana, you can either use frozen mango or double the amount of peaches.
- Greek yogurt: A little yogurt adds more protein and helps the smoothie be very creamy.
- Honey or maple syrup to taste. (Avoid honey for babies under age 1.)
